Kapalai

That's a long time I didn't update my blog..hehe!I'm too busy....Hah! For the post this time, I will tell you about the other interesting and wonderful island in Sabah, Land Below The Wind..^_^..read it ok!

The island that I want to tell your all is the Kapalai Island. First, let me to introduce about the Kapalai Island. Kapalai Island is the island that have many attraction. It is also known as "Scuba Resorts".

Pulau Kapalai

Kapalai island is the mere name conjures the image of crystal clear waters and a floating paradise like no other. A 45 minute trip from Semporna by speedboat, Kapalai island is one of the many beautiful diving havens in this part of the world. However, Kapalai is truly unique because it is not quite an ‘island’.


The 40 chalets are built on high wooden stilts in the middle of the ocean. Visitors can enjoy the sights of marine life in action as they stroll along the boardwalk, a sturdy construction that connects the various sections of the floating resort. The resort has 40 chalets, equipped with basic amenities, including tea and coffee making facilities. 


You will never have to gripe about having a less than desirable view.  You have a breathtaking view of the Celebes Sea no matter where you turn! The restaurant is a wooden deck, where diners can eat indoors or al fresco. There’s even a viewing area in the middle of the restaurant which allows you to see the myriad of marine life passing below.


The sundeck, a popular favourite, is a great place to enjoy your novel, work on a tan or indulge in an afternoon siesta. The Dive Centre provides diving, snorkelling and kayaking gear for rent. Can’t dive but would love to? No problem! The centre offers a variety of PADI courses, including Open Water and Introduction to Night Diving. After enjoying your underwater paradise, explore other facilities offered by the resort including the souvenir shop, games room and broadband access.

Pulau Mabul

Untuk post yang kedua, saya akan ceritakan mengenai sebuah pulau lain yang agak menarik di negeri Sabah iaitu Pulau Mabul. 

Pulau Mabul terletak di pesisir pantai tenggara negeri Sabah, Malaysia. Pulau ini terkenal kerana dekat dengan Pulau Sipadan.

Pulau ini kecil dan melengkung dan terdapat banyak batu karang pelbagai jenis. Batu karang menjadi tumpuan spesies ikan marin kerana banyaknya makanan plankton. Dasarnya tidak dalam, sesuai dengan kejadiannya sebagai pentas benua di Laut Sulawesi. 

Kedalaman sekitar 25 hingga 30 meter sesuai untuk aktiviti 'scuba diving'. Banyak sekali hidupan eksotik seperti sotong kurita, cephalopods, udang geragau, ketam, rumpai laut dan lain-lain.

Sipadan Island

For the first story in my blog, I will tell your all about the very nice island in Sabah which know as Sipadan Islan ..Hope all of you will enjoy it..^_^

First, I will tell your all about the Sipadan Island. Based on the fact, Sipadan Island is the only oceanic island in Malaysia rising 600 metres (2,000 ft) from the seabed. It is located in the Celebes Sea off the east coast of Sabah, East Malaysia ( which is on the island of Borneo). 


It was formed by living corals growing on top of an extinct volcanic cone that took thousands of years to develop. Sipadan is located at the heart of the Indo-Pasific Basin, the centre of one of the richest marine habitats in the world.

Sipadan Island become the most interesting island in Malaysia because more than 3,000 species of fish and hundreds of coral species have been classified in this ecosystem. Sipadan Island has been rated by many dive journals as one of the top dive destinations in the world. Sipadan Island also become one of the chosen island from many tourist in this world such as tourist from England, United States of America, Korea, China and other else.




Besides that, Sipadan Island has many attraction that can attract many people such as the underwater world. The underwater world of Sipadan Island offers views full of marine life such as Barracuda,  turtles, fish and so on. The colors are many and changed, the marginal, slit, "Rungkupan" rock, caverns and vertical sampling underwater formed by  the various reefs and waiting to be witnessed by the divers who wish to enjoy a fun diving in the world.
